Ushuaia is the capital of the Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego. It is approximately 240 kilometers southwest of Rнo Grande, and 3,220 kilometers south of Buenos Aires. It extends east and west along the north shore of the Beagle Channel and guarded on the north by the Martial mountain range

Ushuaia dates back 1870, when the Anglican South American Missionary Society decided to position the archipelago’s primary permanent European settlement there. Lately after Ushuaia’s settlement, Argentina moved to set up its individual authority at Ushuaia and did so with a severe settlement for its most villainous criminals and political undesirables since they had been troubled by the British presence.
